Help Your Child Have a Reading Breakthrough This Summer with Ananda Goldstein M.Ed.

It very is possible to make gains of 1-3 grade levels in 4 months of intensive practice (an hour a day), even for children who are Dyslexic but are otherwise bright. I very much enjoy working with Dyslexic children and others who struggle with reading. It is extremely gratifying to see them break through their reading thresholds and become independent, confident readers fairly quickly and painlessly with just a four months intensive work together.  After working together for a week, if I think I can't help your child make grade level gains quickly, I will let you know and refer you onward.

Part of my Story:
My son attended an Waldorf in his early years, we wanted him to grow up with a sense of play and no pressure in an environment that was culturally rich, feeling he could get start getting reading instruction in 2nd grade and it would be fine.  But as he got older, I found him getting restless and bored and eager for more academics. When he entered 1st grade at Whittier Elementary, in Boulder, Colorado he was already very far behind the other children in reading, actually not knowing anything and feeling very insecure.  Fortunately, I had the training to help him. We worked together after school, every day for 4 months for an hour a day and by the end, he was literally reading novels (Magic Treehouse); within 6 months post-training he was reading Harry Potter, and the summer before entering 2nd grade he read two Percy Jackson novels in full, by himself. I want to help your children also experience rapid gains and reading breakthroughs  in reading/decoding and comprehension so that they can really enjoy the world of books and live up to their potential in school.
Sessions are $50 each and I currently still have 4 slots available for June, July and August. I do take Paypal.

Classes are individualized, one on one, 5 days a week and last a little less than one hour a day.

I have worked with dozens of children as a reading coach and have seen every single one (even the most 'so called' hopeless), make grade level gains in a matter of months. My most recent dyslexic student has gone from early first grade to early third grade level in less than two months.

I work from my home office in Longmont, Colorado; I have also worked as a Reading Coach in Kailua, Hawaii,  New Orleans, Louisiana and Greensboro, NC.
